How to Get to Verbier

Verbier is located in the canton of Valais in southwestern Switzerland on a sunny plateau overlooking the Rhône Valley. The nearest airport is Sion Aiport, roughly a 50-minute to 1-hour drive from Verbier.

To get from Sion Airport to Verbier, take the A9 motorway and exit at Saxon (Exit 23). Continue towards Martigny, then follow Route 21 to Sembrancher. From there, take the road to Verbier via Route de la Vallée and Route de Verbier until you reach Verbier.

From Martigny, take the regional train to Le Châble, located at the base of the mountain, which will take you roughly 35 minutes. A newly built gondola or a 20-minute drive then brings you directly up to Verbier village.
