Flyin’ high
There is no better way to explore the area you are in than seeing it from a birds-eye view – this is exactly what paragliding is all about. Take to the skies around Crans-Montana during a tandem paragliding flight flying between altitudes of 800 metres to 2000 metres. Flyin’ High Paragliding Centre offer flights from various locations around Crans-Montana – just choose the option that best suits you.

Adrenatur
Visiting the Adrenatur Fun Forest is a must. This massive adventure park-style activity centre host a massive selection of different adventurous activities in both summer and winter that are suited to the whole family. you’re sure to find something for everyone here with activities that take place on the water, on land, and in the air! All activities can be booked in advance with varying levels of difficulty so you can choose something to suit your desire for challenge.
Golf
During your time in Crans-Montana is it one of the most picturesque golf courses in the world at the Golf Club Crans-sur-Sierre. This professional-grade golf course is located 1500 metres above sea level on the Haut Plateau. With a total of four courses that include the famous 18-hole Severiano Ballesteros and the 9-hole Jack Nicklaus. With some challenging holes, it is a great place to practice your skill as you enjoy the magnificent views of the highest peaks in the Alps, from the Matterhorn to Mont-Blanc.

Mountain Biking
During the summer when the snow melts the slopes around Crans-Montana make the perfect place to go mountain biking. With 360-degree views of the mountains beyond the region, four waterfalls, nine lakes, a glacier, and luscious green pastures mountain biking in Crans-Montana is perhaps one of the most beautiful cycling experiences you can have in the world.
Cable cars are open 365 days a year and give unlimited access to the mountains above – making for an unmatched mountain biking infrastructure. The bike trails are serviced by various mountain restaurants and dotted with many natural treasures for you to discover along the way. With 77 kilometres of signposted enduro and cross-country tracks suitable for all levels distributed across 11 separate routes Crans-Montana is a mountain biker’s dream.

The Crans-Montana result is made-up of what were originally two villages, Crans and Montana. They are set high above the Rhone Valley and offer exceptional panoramic views of the surrounding mountains that stretch from the Matterhorn to Mont Blanc. Surrounded by 140 kilometres of pistes there is no doubt you will find world-class skiing here, but what do you do when you’re not on the slopes?
Crans-Montana has a lot to offer for everyone with a focus on fashion, style, and class. In the resort, you will find a total of nine swimming pools, two ice rinks, four health centres, four bowling alleys, indoor squash and tennis courts, and a 3D cinema.
Getting Around
Located on the southern edge of Switzerland in the region of Valais, Crans-Montana is easy to access by car, train, or aeroplane (with transfers). Once in the resort of Crans-Montana getting around is made easy by public transportation. A free shuttle bus enables you to travel throughout Crans-Montana during both the summer and winter. Buses run until 30 October 2022 and from the beginning of December.
The resort is also Great to explore on foot or by bike, these methods are not only greener but enable you to take in the beauty of Crans-Montana and the surrounding landscape. Local authorities also work throughout the winter to ensure roads are maintained and cleared of snow after heavy snow fall to allow travel by car.

Children’s Skiing Clubs
Most local ski centres will offer childrens ski lessons and training. ESS Crans-Montana run ‘Mini Club’ for children aged 7 to 11 years old (during the high season only), and 7 to 15 years old (during the low season only). Children ski clubs are designed to give your children confidence on the slopes and help them learn the vital skills they need to stay safe and have fun while skiing or snowboarding. Lessons are taught in a fun and immersive way so your children can make new friends along the way and enjoy their skiing holiday as much as you do!
